When that sort of things happens, it’s almost human nature to become secluded and to remain so. But this, after a few weeks or a month have passed, is a terrible human response. What’s done is done. I crashed through the doors of the old bank, nearly knocking the crippled wooden doors off of their hinges. The barking behind me was getting closer. The echo through the empty building didn’t help me. I sprinted through the lobby towards a marble staircase. They were definitely catching up to me now. I had to do something.
